Enjoying the day at Marina Beach

For a day of relaxation during your city trip in Valencia you can go to one of the city beaches. The closest beach to the city is Las Arenas. This beach is located right next to the port of Valencia about 30 minutes by bike from the city. Curious what is going on in this area? Then read on!

When you arrive at the port of Valencia you will immediately notice: the super modern building of Marina Beach Club. This hip restaurant has an extensive menu and sunbeds by the infinity pool with views over Las Arenas beach. If you want a place here, it is useful to even make a reservation. You can do this via this site: https://marinabeachclub.com/en/. In summer, performances are often organized, and Marina Beach Club is converted into an open-air disco. The restaurant is open every day from 12:00 to 3:30.

Another striking building near the beach of Las Arenas is the building of Veles e Vents. Originally, this building was used for the American sailing competition America’s Cup. Later there are several restaurants and bars where you can eat delicious paellas of fresh fish. Curious what else to do? Have a look at the website: http://veleseventsvalencia.es/en/.

Paella

The port of Valencia is the largest in Spain. During a walk along the harbor you will see all kinds of different boats, from luxury yachts to cruise ships. You can also see old warehouses that were formerly used for the storage of merchandise, grain and vegetables. You will also see the beautiful old Catholic church of Santa Maria del Mar.

Also, water sports enthusiasts cannot get their luck during a visit to the Marina Beach area. There are many water sports companies right next to the restaurant at Marina Beach Club. For example, Anywhere Watersports (https://www.anywherewatersports.com/ , Suplife Valencia (https://suplifevalencia.com/en/) and Quicksail (https://quicksail.es/en/). Enough choice!
